Fred Rivera – CEO of Select Auto Glass Plus
Fred Rivera grew up in Philadelphia and loved cars from a young age. One of his proudest moments as a teenager was working on his 1976 Camaro. He dreamed of turning it into a cool muscle car that any teenager would love.
Fred’s dad was a part-time mechanic, so Fred was always around cars and repairs. But when Fred grew up, he didn’t start working with vehicles immediately. Instead, he got a job in home electronics.
Things changed when Fred and his wife, Margarita, were looking at houses to buy in Northeast Philadelphia. One of the houses had a garage, giving Fred a big idea. He thought about starting an auto glass repair business. He had already been helping friends and family replace car windows, so he knew he was good at it.
Fred wanted to be the best, so he went to Wisconsin to take a unique training course from the National Glass Association. Margarita, who believed in him and still works with him today, gave him the green light to go for it.
For over 11 years, Fred and Margarita have been helping people in Philadelphia fix their car windows. Their business, Select Auto Glass Plus, has made thousands of customers happy by doing great work and being trustworthy.
